Water Baptism
After the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and before the 2nd Century, water baptism has always been in the name of Jesus Christ. In the 2nd Century it began to change INTO the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Ghost by a few Catholic faith leaders.
They misunderstood the scripture of Matthew 28:19 and perceived that baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is what Jesus meant. This is the reason for two types of water baptisms. The original one, which is in the name of Jesus Christ. The second is created by men, that didn’t understand the scripture correctly and Satan, took advantage of this mistake because Satan knows that sins are not washed away through Titles, or any other names but only in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord Jesus, Name of the Lord. These names all depict only Jesus Christ. (Father is not a name, Son is not a name, Holy Ghost is not a name).
(Matthew 28:19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Even though, these words are from Jesus Christ, those words he spoke in the scripture doesn’t mean to actually water baptize into a trinity method, or with water sprinkling a person and babies. Most all man made churches water baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. They are the Baptist faith, Church of God in Christ faith, Non denomination faith there are thousands of man made churches that the Lord Jesus did not start. The Lord Jesus only ordained his church that was preached by the Apostles (Matthew 16:18-19).
There are many encyclopedias that find this is a fact what the Catholic Church and their followers have encouraged this absent water baptism. What they really wanted was Power, greed, and popularity. Oh, they succeeded in being one of the largest religious group organizations in the world, called Christianity.
But unfortunately, there are millions upon millions of people that have died never to have their sins washed away due to their selfish acts and errors. Not only that, they try to pass as original Christians but they are not. They hijacked the name Christian even though that their faith is really called Christianity, so don't be fooled.
